Sarah Chougnet-Strudel is a French chef who is one of the leading figures in a young cuisine that believes in the quality of produce, expressed in short menus with contemporary combinations. In her restaurant in Marseille, Regain, she creatively breaks away from the starred models and accompanies her cuisine, brightened up with spices and peppers from around the world, with carefully selected natural wines.
She began her career at the Ferrandi school, then went on to work with some of the world’s greatest chefs: at the Table du Lancaster and L’Astrance with Pascal Barbot in Paris, then in the kitchens of the Gabriel in Bordeaux. After travelling to Singapore, Sarah Chougnet-Strudel developed a passion for Asian gastronomy, combining it with French cuisine.
