When India Mahdavi and Luca Pronzato, founder of WE ARE ONA, met between Paris and Mexico, they imagined a space where softness could be radical and hospitality a language of its own.

For Art Basel Paris, they unveil Rose, c’est la vie: a hidden speakeasy in a former garage, echoing Mahdavi’s iconic New York club APT. Mexican chef Jesús Durón will design a special menu in a space draped in bespoke Rose d’Ispahan textiles.

A joyful manifesto of gentleness, optimism, and feminism, the speakeasy embraces rather than impresses, what Mahdavi calls “the seriousness of happiness.”
