WE ARE ONA and Luca Pronzato are pleased to announce ‘Dalad’s, a new collaboration with artist Rirkrit Tiravanija and chef Dalad Kambhu during Art Basel Paris 2026.

From 19 to 25 October 2026, WE ARE ONA will take over a secret location near Place de l’Étoile in Paris, transforming the space into a temporary restaurant where contemporary art, Thai cuisine, architecture, and hospitality converge.

For seven days, the space will become a fully functioning restaurant, marking Dalad Kambhu’s third collaboration with WE ARE ONA. The project is rooted in a simple idea: bringing people together through food, art, and hospitality.

Rirkrit Tiravanija creates an immersive installation of two stainless-steel boats, a contemporary homage to Thailand’s traditional fishing boats. Reimagined as communal tables, they form the architecture of the restaurant, with integrated steam pots allowing chefs to cook directly within the installation. Steam, stainless steel, and maritime details create a dialogue between Thai heritage and contemporary design.

At the heart of the experience, Chef Dalad Kambhu brings her distinctive interpretation of Thai cuisine, combining traditional flavours and recipes with contemporary techniques and premium ingredients. Her menu creates another connection with the cultural origins of the boats and Tiravanija’s practice.

The project reflects what WE ARE ONA has been developing since its beginning: using gastronomy as a medium to bring together art, design, architecture, and hospitality.
Conceived as a temporary experience, it transforms an existing space and brings people together around food.

Together, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Dalad Kambhu, and WE ARE ONA create an ephemeral world - where art, cuisine, architecture, light, and human connection converge, transforming the simple act of sharing a meal into a contemporary ritual.
