As part of the European pop up restaurant tour “WE ARE ONA ART TOUR”, the collective will first stop by Venice during the Biennale, from the 16th to the 23rd of April. We Are ONA will take over a mysterious and magnificent palazzo, in the Castello District.
For this first stop of the ART TOUR, the chef Thomas Coupeau will be cooking a 8 course menu revisiting Italian classics with a contemporary twist and local ingredients. The food will be accompanied by a selection of exclusive and natural wines by Luca Pronzato and Lucy Rosedale.
Thomas Coupeau was the chef at Carbón, a Parisian restaurant dedicated to wood-fired cuisine. After growing up in his mother’s Pho restaurant in La Rochelle, Thomas began his real cooking career at the age of 22 in Bordeaux.
Precocious and talented, he became Carbon’s chef at the age of 26, and has since traveled the world with his cooking. With pop-ups in Paris, Turkey and recently in Uruguay, his cuisine is modern, spontaneous and constantly evolving.
